We strive to improve people’s well-being through nature

With science-backed practices that enhance both mental and physical wellness, we design structured, research-informed programs that help people reconnect with nature in a meaningful way. We practise Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (STH), which blends hands-on gardening, nature-based craft and activities, and nature immersion walks to promote mental clarity, emotional well-being, and a deeper connection with nature.

Testimonials

“Brought my friend to attend the Moss Art workshop during Zentosa as a birthday surprise and we both had a lot of fun creating our own artworks. I displayed mine at home, and it reminds me of nature and the outdoors every time I look at it! We also got to learn about the different herbs & plants growing in Fort Siloso’s own garden.”
“I had an amazing experience and it was fun way to spend my birthday!”

“Under the guidance of Cai Ting, we crafted our own terrariums. I felt a sense of pride as I nurtured my very first plant. It was a fulfilling half-day away from work, immersing ourselves in an activity so closely connected to nature. This experience captures the significance of moments of serenity and learning in our busy lives. Thank you Hortherapeutics.”

“JunXiuang and the team at Hortherapeutics have been a delight to work with. They have been flexible in accommodating to the needs of our Active Aging Centre, and have been responsive to requests and questions by our seniors. They conduct lessons bilingually which is extremely helpful. The seniors enjoy the interactive sessions, from growing plants, creating landscapes, to culinary gardening, as they experience the benefits of being closer to nature. I highly recommend considering them when trying to decide on Active Aging Programmes for your Senior Centre!”
